Defender Trophy Edition: What’s new
The special edition is available in two new colours: Keswick Green and Deep Sandglow Yellow. These wheels come shod with all-terrain tyres as standard.Inside, the cabin gets a black leather upholstery, while the dashboard panel is painted to match the exterior body colour. Moreover, customers can further personalise the Defender Trophy Edition with an optional Accessory Pack, priced at £4,995. This pack includes a roof rack, side-mounted gear carriers, fold-down roof ladder, raised air intake, and front and rear mud flaps. Lastly, bespoke Trophy decals and badging round out the exterior changes.
The Defender Trophy Edition is offered with two powertrain options: a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel engine producing 296 hp and 650 Nm of torque, and a plug-in hybrid that combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, delivering 296 hp and 540 Nm. Both are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Defender Trophy: All roads lead to Africa
Besides launching the new Defender 110 Trophy Edition, the company has also announced the Defender Trophy, a global adventure competition open to participants from over 50 countries. Inspired by historic Trophy events, the contest will test driving skills, physical endurance, and problem-solving through a series of local and national rounds. Finalists will head to Africa in 2026 for the global finale, where winners will earn a chance to take part in a real-world conservation mission with Defender’s long-time partner, Tusk.
