AGRA: Three men, resting below a flyover after their morning walk, were crushed to death Wednesday when a mango-laden loader plunged off the flyover on NH-19 in Agra’s Trans Yamuna area and fell on them, reports Sudeep Lavania. The truck’s driver later succumbed to injuries, while his helper remains in critical condition.ACP Hemant Kumar said, “The loader was en route from Lucknow to Agra’s Sikandra area when it lost control while ascending the flyover. It plunged from a height. Below, Rajesh (55), Rameshwar (60) and Haribabu (62) were sitting after their walk when the vehicle fell on them, killing them on the spot. Preliminary investigation suggests the driver may have dozed off at the wheel.”Rameshwar’s son Sanjay said, “Like every morning, my father left home at 4am with his two closest friends. They had gone on a morning walk together for 15 years. I never imagined it would be their last walk.”
